Do Performance Air Filters Add HORSEPOWER to Motorcycles? [Tested on Yamaha MT-07]

I installed a K&N high performance air filter on my Yamaha MT-07 along with an Akrapovic full racing exhaust with the baffle removed and flash tuned the ECU. I’ve had my new 2022 Yamaha MT-07 for nearly two months so far and I’ve done a lot of riding on it. After owning twelve different motorcycles over the last ten plus years I can tell you this new Yamaha MT-07 is one of the most fun motorcycles I’ve owned. I’ve had much faster and more expensive motorcycles but you don’t have to have the fastest and most expensive motorcycle to have fun. Yamaha MT-07 is CHEAPLY BUILT?

Over the years I’ve heard some people say the Yamaha MT-07 is cheaply built, has poor build quality with cheap components. Is this really the truth? In the past, I did not buy the Yamaha MT-07 because of what some people said about the bike being cheap.
