I started riding in my early sixties when I retired, on a Suzuki 650 V-Strom which I rode across Canada, down to California, and diagonally across the US to Chicago and then home to Toronto.
When my wife retired, we got a 2006 Honda Goldwing which we have ridden many kilometres. It is a great bike but is a bit tubby for urban riding. So I bought a 2006 CBR1000RR with 14000 km (8700 miles). I wanted a physically smaller bike for inner city riding, and I read about eight million articles researching the options, and it was Cycle Cruza’s various articles that convinced me of the CBR’s suitability. It is still early spring up here, but the few rides I have had so far ensure me that I made the right decision. I will turn 71 in April. I never feel as alive as when I am on a bike. The CBR is my best medication to date.
