Hi,

My name is Simone and I recently started to practice on a wee bike (Honda CG125) as in the UK you first need to do the CBT before moving to a bigger bike. After I get my full driving license I’m planning to buy the Yamaha MT07 (https://www.yamaha-motor.eu/uk/products/motorcycles/hyper-naked/mt-07.aspx#RfD4xQbtpPuVy15I.97)!

I have watched videos and read reviews about this bike which seems to be quite a good one. And I’m also aware that starting on a supersport bike is not recommended especially if it’s your first bike. But I kind of like this one and I would try to avoid buying a used 250/300 cc bike and rather going for something with a bigger engine, but not too powerful risking to end up in the hospital.

In a nutshell I would like to know if you recommend this bike as well as you recommend it as a first one to start with after the Honda CG125.

Any advise or any feedback on this would be much appreciated!
