Just thought I’d let you in on a little secret ….
That pedal tape you use for mounting, I get that for free.
I live in Toronto, Canada (suburb of it anyway) we have a toll highway here it’s called the “407” it works using an electronic transponder that they (407 Highway) provide it comes with 2 sets of pedal tape and is of high quality (adhesive on back provided by 3M). Transponder is meant to be attached in the upper center of your windshield (yes I mean a cage).
The best part is I can walk into there office and they have replacements sitting in a bowl at reception for the public to help themselves. I grab a handful every year or so. Works out great for any of my projects.
I’m sure they have similar highways and “free” mounting stuff all across North America.
