Changed oil in my bike with 3qts of oil then bike died on highway. I’m guessing oil sensor read no/low oil bc the next day I added 3 more qts and watched sight glass fill up then bike started right up. After that I decided to drain and put conventional oil back in it and then 6qts came out?! (Bike never ran with that much oil in it tho) How did almost 6qts come out? Where was all the oil? Bike has no leaks and is not smoking either. Def need some help. Yeah I’m new to this
Whoaaa Bg23… 6 quarts? Umm do you have your manual for the bike? I would check to see how many quarts are recommended and what is the oil reservoir capacity. You definitely don’t want to overfill it as that might potentially blow some seals and gaskets.
Def check ur owners manual…if you don’t have one it might be available for free online or see if you can order from a dealer (pricey option).
