First of all love your new bike. When you buy an exotic car or a Ferrari type Ducati, your buying it for the exclusivity and passion for that vehicle. Otherwise you would buy a Chevy, Toyota or Honda. Reliability concerns and costs are way down the list of importance. If you are so concerned about costs/reliabity then an expensive exotic my not be your cup of tea. Even if you bought a used Ferrari or Ducati, your deal may be great but it still had expensive/exclusive parts and labor costs. If you have a real passion for Italian extravagance, you do not care about costs as it is worth it. You only live once!
