Hey guys! New member, not new rider! I have been on a bike for the past 12 years or so and have started the motovlogging thing in early 2015. Its not taking off so well but I still enjoy it! (Even harder now its snowing…)
Anyway! I have a question for you CycleCruza! I watched your video on your motovlogging set-up with the Switronics power cable this past spring and until this past month, it worked flawlessly…. Long story short, there is a short somewhere (30pin connector maybe? or the PCB box?) and it fried my Hero 4, the external battery pack, and my laptop… Thats right, as soon as the usb entered the PC, I heard a pop and then poof it was dead…. I’m thinking the cord just died and unfortunately, I didnt realize it had a capacitor in the line that could fry my shit….
Long story shory, did you ever have issues with yours? I’m thinking about getting another one due to the lack of suppliers for rear mounting power supplies.
