Which bike to upgrade to?

Hey CycleCruza,

So I am thinking of upgrading bikes (and have always wanted a Honda CBR – infact have always been a huge fan of the 07-08 CBR600RR).

I have 2 yrs riding experience with the Monster 620 and Ninja 650 and am primarily a long-distance freeway commuter who probably will never track ride.

Like you my top 2 requirements for a bike are:
1) light as possible
2) escapeability at freeway speeds (we avg 70-80 mph here)

For that profile, which CBR model would you recommend – the 500R, 600RR, or 1000RR?

(i’ve been very intrigued by your litre bike reviews – especially since those can have the slipper clutch/abs combo)
