I’ve done some pretty stupid things in my life but this tops them all when it comes to mistakes with motorcycles. If only I could go back into time and change this one thing. Oh well! Although riding a motorcycle is an amazing and fun experience, bikers often get a bad rap. The general public like to stereotype bikers because they see negative portrayals of bikers in movies and TV and many people think real life bikers are the same type of negative characters. Sometimes it may be true that bikers are bad asses but not really.

Motorcycle gear you don’t really need.

You see some sport bike riders wearing full one piece motorcycle racing suits looking like Valentino Rossi when street riding but is it really necessary?  Are gauntlet motorcycle gloves needed? Or do you really need a “SNELL” rated motorcycle helmet? Airbag vest? Neck brace? Other gear?

The truth about these so called wimpy bikes.

In the U.S., smaller motorcycles are often viewed as wimpy motorcycles and not very masculine. Many rude people will even say that  sportsters are for chicks and pansies. Scooters don’t get much respect in the U.S. either and many men who ride them are often ridiculed and disrespected. Some people will say you have to ride a powerful tough bike to get respect on the streets in the U.S.

I have been riding motorcycles on the streets for over a decade and have come across many rude bikers. I’ve even been rude a time or two myself and did not follow proper etiquette like all riders are supposed to. However, many riders don’t even know proper biker etiquette because its not something that you learn from a book but rather it is something you learn from being a biker from experience.

I have been on YouTube for over ten years and I have been blessed to own and ride all different kinds of motorcycles from slow to powerful bikes. I even showed you all how to build a DIY custom camper moto van out of a cargo van and I traveled the country living out my  campervan with my motorcycle. It has been a really fun journey that has been a living dream for me. I’ve always loved motorcycles since I was a kid. What dirt bike and ATV hooligans are doing wrong and what they need to do.

Dirt bike and ATV hooligans have been taking over the streets in cities nationwide and it is causing chaos. The unruly dirt bike riders and ATV riders are riding in oncoming traffic, through red lights, through stop signs, on people’s lawns, over cars and all over the place causing havoc and police have their hands tied because there are so many hooligans taking over the streets. What should be done about it? I give my opinion in my latest video.
