The Yamaha MT-07 has been out for a decade now. Although there have been some changes to the MT-07 over the years the engine has pretty much stayed the same with the same horsepower and torque. Meanwhile, we have a slew of new middleweight naked motorcycles that have more horsepower and torque along with a plethora of electronics. Recently, I saw a drag race video that raced the new middleweight makes bikes against the MT-07 and most of them beat it. That begs the question, is the Yamaha MT-07 outdated now?
