Why adventure motorcycles are overrated.

Adventure motorcycles are very popular these days. You often see advertisements showing ADV motorcycles riding on great adventures off-road, across creeks or riding in the outback like they are on a wild adventure with the most capable go anywhere motorcycle on the planet. This is what I call great marketing but far from reality.

If you really think you can take any of these big adventure motorcycles on some wild excursions off-road I have some ocean front property to sell you in Arizona. (Ha! Ha!)

Why Honda motorcycles are boring now.

Honda used to make some of the coolest, fastest and most innovative motorcycles back in the day. I personally owned the Honda CBR trilogy, a CBR250r, CBR600rr and a Honda CBR1000rr. Many people even called me a Honda fanboy back in the day because I used to rant and rave about how great my CBR600rr and CBR1000rr motorcycles were. However, Honda has gone vanilla for many years now, so much so that I jumped ship to Yamaha and have owned several amazing Yamaha motorcycles and now consider myself a Yamaha fan.

Don’t get me wrong, Honda still makes great reliable motorcycles but Honda has been making many boring motorcycles for a long time now compared to the competition.  Yes, Honda has a few cool bikes like the Honda CRF450L and the new good looking Honda CBR1000R black edition. However, Honda bikes are pretty boring these days, in my humble opinion.

STAND UP Folding Motorcycle UTV ATV Trailer REVIEW

Review of the compact folding trailer to tow a UTV, motorcycles and ATVs.

A few months ago I bought a Folding trailer that can tow a big UTV, three motorcycles, two ATVs and can be used as a utility trailer to tow just about anything from fridges, sheets of plywood, etc. This is the most compact and versatile trailer I’ve ever seen before. It takes up little room in the garage. So now you can enjoying towing whatever you want without having to put a trailer in your yard and causing problems with your HOA.

5 Reasons why vintage motorcycles are a bad buy.

Vintage motorcycles are extremely popular now for a good reason, they look really hip and cool. Old cafe racer motorcycles are so popular now that new motorcycles are being built to resemble the old cafe racer look of the past bikes. Although it may be tempting to buy an old cafe racer motorcycle, you may want to skip buying one for many valid reasons. As an alternative, there are many new retro bikes with the old styling but have the latest technology and are much more reliable.

A Problem With Japanese Motorcycles

A problem with Japanese motorcycles these days..

I’ve had a lot of Japanese motorcycles and just a couple of European motorcycles. I will say that Japan makes some of the most reliable motorcycles you can buy. The only problems I ever had with a motorcycle were with the only two European motorcycles I ever owned, I have not had one problem with any Japanese motorcycle I’ve ever owned. Japanese motorcycle are amazing but there is one problem that seems to plague the newer Japanese motorcycles.

My tragic story.

I grew up in a house in the inner-city of Cleveland Ohio. Although you will see the neighborhood I grew up in doesn’t appear to such a bad area but there is a house on the street that neighbors once called ‘The had luck house” which happens to be my childhood home that brought a lot of tragedy to my family. Horrible things happened in that house that I’ll never forget and still affects me to this day.

The New VMAX Yamaha Should Build

The new Yamaha VMAX that Yamaha should build.

The Yamaha VMAX is one of the fastest cruisers on the planet with the loads of torque and is a bonafied a legend. However, Yamaha discontinued the legendary Yamaha VMAX back in 2020 and gave no reason why. Only one can assume that they discontinued the VMAX because of low sales and Yamaha not wanting to comply with the new emissions requirements. You must admit, the VMAX had been pretty old with no new updates for many years before it was discontinued.

I would like to see Yamaha build an all new muscle cruiser VMAX with it’s legendary powerful and torquey V4 engine to compete with the ever popular and ultra torquey monster cruiser Triumph Rocket 3 and the powerful Ducati XDiavel and Diavel 1260. I once owned a Ducati XDiavel S and it was an amazingly powerful cruiser that not only provided stomping straight line power but you could blaze through twisty roads without scraping pegs which is rare for most cruisers.

Imagine if Yamaha built an epic all new Yamaha VMAX that would destroy Ducati and Triumph’s muscle cruiser. I would buy it, that’s for sure! Maybe Yamaha is building such an epic new VMAX and just not telling us yet! ….WATCH VIDEO BELOW!

New Motorcycle and New Stuff

I got a deal on an epic new motorcycle that is powerful.

I’ve been having the itch to buy a new motorcycle for a long time now but held off on getting one because I wanted to buy a country home. Now that I got the country property I’m ready to get the new motorcycle. There are four motorcycles that are at the top of my list and one bike has been at the top of my list for years but never worked out in the past. I went to several motorcycle dealerships and looked online, alas I found a deal (but not a great deal) on an epic motorcycle that I’ve always wanted that is loaded with torque from the top to the bottom of the RPM range.
