Harley Davidson motorcycles are very popular, especially here in Ohio amongst patriotic riders. I’m the oddball riding a Japanese sport bike motorcycle when most people around here are riding Harley Davidsons. Yamaha MT-07 is OUTDATED Now?

Is the Yamaha MT-07 outdated now?

The Yamaha MT-07 has been out for a decade now. Although there have been some changes to the MT-07 over the years the engine has pretty much stayed the same with the same horsepower and torque. Meanwhile, we have a slew of new middleweight naked motorcycles that have more horsepower and torque along with a plethora of electronics. Recently, I saw a drag race video that raced the new middleweight makes bikes against the MT-07 and most of them beat it. That begs the question, is the Yamaha MT-07 outdated now? Is the MT-07 still worth getting in 2023? Why get a MT-07 over the new bikes? Sell my MT-07 now? I answer all of those questions in my latest YouTube motovlog.…. Video link below!

Honda is getting tired of being toppled by Yamaha every year because the ever popular Yamaha MT-07 outsells every motorcycle that Honda sells. Yamaha has sold more than 160,000+ Yamaha MT-07’s since 2014 and no other motorcycle even comes close to this. So how did Honda respond? Honda created the all new Honda Hornet CB750 that beats the Yamaha MT-07 in nearly every category on the spec sheet and is even $300 cheaper to boot! Kawasaki just released two brand new electric motorcycles, the 2024 Kawasaki Ninja E-1 and Z E-1. Both of these new electric motorcycles are disappointing to say the least and too expensive for what they are.
