Imagine if they came out with an all new Yamaha VMax with a new lighter weigh and powerful V4 engine and the bike can compete or beat the Ducati XDiavel and Diavel 1260 muscle cruisers. Are Naked Motorcycles BETTER Than Supersport Motorcycles?

The truth about whether a naked motorcycle is better than a supersport motorcycle.

Naked motorcycles are extremely popular now unlike supersport motorcycles. However, back in the days a lot of us sportbike riders were riding supersport motorcycles on the street. Now there is no need to ride around on the streets on a motorcycle that has an uncomfortable race oriented riding position like on a supersport. These days there are a plethora of naked motorcycles that are just as fast as supersport motorcycles but has a much more upright comfortable riding position and the bikes are tuned for more low down grunt that makes street riding fun. On most supersport motorcycles you have to rev the bike higher in the RPMs to get more power and lower in the RPMs these bikes are “gutless.”. However, is a naked really that much better than a supersport motorcycle? Sportbike motorcycles are fun but sometimes you’ll want to just kickback and take in the scenery on a cruiser motorcycle and enjoy some great low down torque fro some powerful thrusts. However, I’m not a big fan of heavy cruisers but there are amazing lighter weight cruisers that are not only a blast to ride but they are affordable and can be great for beginner riders.
