HOOLIGAN Bikers – Bike Life

Why there are so many immature hooligan bikers like me with no class. (Lol!)

When I first started riding a motorcycle well over a decade ago I was a much more mature rider than I am now. Depending on the motorcycle you ride, the type of motorcycle you ride can actually regress your maturity level. Lol! I thought I was immature on my sportbike motorcycles in the past but ever since I switched to a dual sport and supermoto motorcycle I am like a teenager all over again and not in a classy way.

However, don’t get it twisted, I’m still a very safe conscious and defensive rider but….

I love them all and want them all!

The truth, I don’t feel the same way as I used to about motorcycles as I did when I first started riding. With years of riding all kinds of different motorcycles, I’ve totally changed my perception of certain motorcycles. My preferences are no longer the same. Life is about changes and it’s time for change for myself as well.

Reasons to not get a Suzuki DRZ 400SM…

Supermotos are hands down the most fun motorcycles you can ride on the streets. With a supermoto you can not only have a lot of fun on the streets but you can also mess around a little off-road as well. I got rid of all of sport bikes and only have a supermoto now and I love it more than any other motorcycle I ever had.

So what supermoto should you get? Many people will tell you to get a Suzuki DRZ 400SM, you can get one at your local dealership and they are already street-legal and ready to go. However, there are reasons I never bought a DRZ400sm and why I wouldn’t recommend them as a first choice.

We all make mistakes, nobody is perfect. However, making a mistake on a motorcycle can get you killed or hurt really bad. I made some mistakes throughout my riding motorcycles for over a decade. I’ve been on YouTube for over nine years and made some mistakes over the years, luckily, I walked away from most of those mistakes unscathed. However, there was one mistake, a crash, that I got hurt pretty bad but made it out ok. I learned some great lessons over the years, hopefully, you can learn from the mistakes I made over the years that I will share with you in this episode.

Why OLD Motorcycles Are BETTER!

Why old motorcycles are better….

I’ve owned some of the newest motorcycles over the past few years. I owned a 2017 Aprilia Tuono v4 1100 factory that is nearly the same bike as the newest 2021 model, I owned a 2016 Ducati XDiavel S that is about the same bike as the 2021 model and I recently owned a 2020 Yamaha MT-09 that I just sold weeks ago. What do all these newer bikes have in common? Many of the old motorcycles are actually better than many of these new motorcycles!
