A supermoto is most fun you can have on a motorcycle. Trust me, I’ve had all the different kinds of motorcycles and got rid of them all after getting a supermoto. I’m not having fun unless I’m riding a supermoto. My supermoto was built from a race dirt bike (YZ450FX) and converted to a street legal hooligan bike. However, I know many states will not allow you to convert an off-road dirt bike into a street legal bike like we can in Ohio. Why a 450 Supermoto is BEST!

So you want a supermoto because you heard how fun they are? However, you don’t know which supermoto to get? There are not a whole lot of supermotos to choose from, at least of the street legal supermotos but in this video I will tell you why a 450cc supermoto is the best you can get (but you will have to build it yourself) but there are some cons you need to be aware of but the pros supremely outweigh the cons and I’ll tell you why. 3 year review of my custom 2019 Yamaha YZ450FX supermoto.

It’s hard to believe that I’ve had my custom 2019 Yamaha YZ450FX street legal supermoto for 3.5 years already.Time flies when you are having fun and I’ve been having some serious fun on this supermoto. However, it has not all been perfect with this bike in all of these years. I had a few problems and still have a problem with my supermoto. Fact is the YZ450FX was built to be a pure cross country hardcore race dirt bike and not a street bike.

I want to do an EPIC motorcycle adventure across the country. The most epic motorcycle adventure I can think of is riding the Trans America Trail from coast to coast that covers every type of terrain you can imagine, most notably, Bear Pass in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, which is one of the most dangerous places to ride off-road and the most thrilling. However, because the Trans America Trail covers so much different terrain from street to gnarly mountain single track trails, which is the best dual sport motorcycle to get for the Trans America Trail?
